ICE BREAKERS: The world according to COVID- Global Exporting, Importing, Logistics and Customs in the Coronavirus era

June 30, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm

This session will focus on the many changes in space, rates, customs practices, cargo insurance and other factors that have affected the logistics process of getting your exports and imports delivered. Paul Jarzombek of LR INTERNATIONAL and Sandi Siegel of M.E. Dey will be our speakers along with Pat Miller- The Idea Coach who will moderate the session. Expect to get the latest information on what shipping services are back to operating around the world, how high are rates and will they ever come down, what does the future look like as far as space and capacity along with a global overview by region on what different countries are currently doing in light of the pandemic, and what they will likely do if there is a resurgence in the Fall or Winter.

The session will run from 3:00pm – 3:45 pm and is free to ICE members and guests. Please encourage as many people from your company to attend as possible even if they do not regularly attend ICE meetings since this is an easy platform to sign on to. As an ICE member company, your colleagues are always welcome as part of your membership, and this topic touches many different areas of most companies.  There is no cost to attend this event.

Zoom log-in instructions will be emailed to each participant shortly after we receive your registration. Please invite others from your company to join in the “Conversation.”
